Alpacas
Tinkerbelle is our oldest alpaca at 9 years old. She is a feisty girl and talks a lot - we love her voice, it is deep and loud, as she wants us to know she means business -ha!
Cherry Berry is our only black bay alpaca and her fiber makes the most fancy luxurious bright black dryer balls. She has been exposed for a fall 2022 baby, fingers crossed we get a healthy black bay baby.
Ms. Ophelia is our sweetest girl, for real. Always up for treats and adventures. Ophelia tells us soft gentle stories with her little voice. She is the mother of our male Ricky Bobby.
Lucky Penny is always the first at the feeder and defends off any one who may get in her way. She and Ricky Bobby had a few dates this summer, hoping for a beautiful healthy fiberful baby fall 2022.
Maizy Star has managed to win our hearts. Her spirit animal is a pig, she loves rolling in the dirt and snorts a lot - it’s so funny. She has really grown into a beautiful girl this past year.
Ricky Bobby is our oldest male at 4 years. He is the leader of the boy pen and is always watching out for his herd. He has beautiful red fiber that shimmers when fluffed.
Cliffhanger - often called "Cliffie baby" - loves to nibble fresh grass. He loves to greet you at the gate to see what adventures are happening on the farm.
Firepower is our youngest male and has a November birthday. His fiber is light fawn in color, has amazing crimping, and is so very soft. He is quiet and gentle natured, watching what the big boys do first and then joining when he sees it’s safe.

Horses
Spirit on the left and Oakley on the right
Spirit has been a work in progress, initially we wanted to sell him as he was kinda nutty
- no lie - ask our 4-H friends. However, Kenna committed to training him and the two have become quite the athletic duo. This horse trusts her and finally has a person he feels safe with, in turn he does almost anything she asks of him.
Oakley is a worker, originally coming from a ranch in South Dakota, he thrives on a hard days work. He gives 110% all day long. He is our herd boss and we love watching the gentle way he watches over “his” horses. Chloe was younger when she started riding him, so you can say they have blossomed together in the arena.

Mouse - what can we say, this is my favorite horse. Both Rocky and I ride him. His favorite speed is slow or standing still. But, when asked, this boy will get up and go for you. He won my heart the time his saddle hooked onto the fence, and he just kept walking, no spook, dragging the whole fence line behind us. Not much rocks his world, but he sure rocks ours!
Apollo left and Atreyo right
These boys arrived last spring as unhandled two year olds. What great timing as COVID allowed for daily training and adventures with them. They are both sweethearts, curious, and always the first to the gate to great you. The girls are riding them and they are so smart, sidepassing, backing, walk, trot lope, flying lead changes, and a whole host of ground manor lessons. Pretty cool experience for both the girls.

Hens
We have five hens total and no two are alike. Normally we like to let our birds free range, but Henry is still learning to leave them alone, so for their safety, they hang out in the coop. One of these little lady's laid her first egg October 26th!
Kitties
Left Cleo and right Lola
Cleo was a gift To Kenna from uncle Frank, it went something like this...Frank: “does Kenna want a kitten for her birthday”, Me: “well she would love one, but, absolutely not”.... well Happy Birthday! Kenna was over the moon! It’s all turned out very well as she is the absolute best cat. She hunts hard and almost daily has success. Plus she is a talker and boy does she get her point across.
Lola was born on the farm and raised by us, literally, bottle fed from the day she was born. That was an adventure for sure as she was part of a litter of seven, all bottle fed from the day they were born and they all survived🥰 As such, she is a very friendly, easy going kitty. She is not a tough kitty at all and she thinks her job is to just be sweet and beautiful!

Puppies
Hazel on the left and Henry on the right
Hazel is our "old girl", we have had her for 10 years. God knew what he was doing when we picked her for us, as she is a very good dog and listens really well. Hazel loves attention and smiles wildly when you love on her. She does get somewhat protective with visitors and has a loud firm bark. At least we can depend on her to alert us when company comes. Hazel is a solid example for her pal Henry, who needs lots of support.
Henry joined our family when my husband won the "golden Easter egg" at my parents house - it had $100 in it! The same day the kids saw a flyer at a gas station with a posting for puppies ($100/each), while we had no intention of getting a second dog... Henry and Rocky have taken a few training lessons together and the pair won five trophies at the county fair dog show. The very next day Henry proceeded to eat the Fed Ex package and that is pretty much life with Henry - Ha! He does love to hunt and is excellent at flushing and pointing, so fun to watch.
